mind minimalism + slow-motion multitasking

Happy October, everyone. As my birthday is next week, I can only hope that I’m stepping more into the Sage role that a previous coworker gave me a few years ago.

A sage is someone who is full of wisdom, and is “on a never-ending quest to understand the world and share our findings with others,” as written by my new friend Aer.

As a content creator and knowledge worker, my only real hope is to digest information from the wise, absorb it, and share it with you with my own spin on it. Such is all modern creativity: recycled ideas and new spins on old topics.

So when I talk about minimalism (physical, emotional, and digital), intentional living, and continuous learning… I try my best to bring my angle to the table.

Someone in a live webinar chat recently said about me, “Digital minimalism was already covered by Cal Newport in his book.”

Yes, and Cal Newport is one of the few who’ve made it up to my permanent personal library. But here’s the thing with creativity:

Creativity is all about making unique connections through our individual lenses and forming something new.

So tell me, what is something you’re looking to create and share with the world?

Journal Prompt

Take several deep breaths with your eyes closed. Then, just write as fast as you can, in a stream of consciousness, editing nothing. Don't fix typos; don't think too hard. Let this unedited flow pour out and see what happens in 15 minutes.

Be safe and well! 🖤
