Journaling + planning faves
Well ok, I definitely need to work on this section more, but here are some of my fave analog journaling and planning supplies, from my Traveler’s Notebook to fountain pens and other stationery accessories.
Filming + photo equipment
For photos, I use my Fujifilm X100F for that extra level of polish and bokeh. For videos, I record with my iPhone 16 and use natural lighting. The sturdy overhead camera mount is clutch for top-down videos.
Digital lifestyle, journaling + art
Procreate all day, every day. I love my iPad SO much. Whether you’re hand-lettering in Procreate or are taking notes and planning in Notability in a digital bullet journal, here are the tech art tools I love.
Brush calligraphy tools
Find the tools that make your heart sing. Remember—the tools don’t make the artist. But, if you find the supplies that work best for you and your lettering style, you’ll have more fun.
Suggested starter kits
Minimalist: This was my starter kit. These tools are higher grade, which will give you a good experience without overwhelming you with choices.
Budget-friendly: This budget-friendly starter kit will get you up and running for a few dollars, and they’re available at almost any store with an office supply section!
Medium-tier: Want a little more color in your life, but want higher quality pens and paper? This kit builds off of the Minimalist Kit with a seemingly unlimited pool of colors from Tombow.
Watercolor + ink: I love the watercolor and ink look! I recommend purchasing two sets of the Pentel Water Brushes so you can use one set for watercolor and the other set for ink.
Books + reading
