Checkout flow

User experience redesign

I acted as project lead, UX designer, and content designer on this project. The e-commerce checkout flow suffered from a lack of retention and high dropoff rates, so we moved quickly on this flow redesign in order to see higher conversions and a more comprehensive and contextual user flow throughout the entire experience.

 The Invisible Hotel

Service research and app design

This invisible hotel is a modern luxury hotel without any onsite staff. The design helps to provide an all-inclusive app and experience in order to provide an easy, immersive, and personalized stay for folks who love to travel and prefer unique experiences.

Asthma management app

App Design

While at a pharmaceutical company as a visual designer, I had the opportunity to redesign, reskin, and reimagine an app that helps asthma patients manage their disease and stay healthy with regular check-ins.

I worked on the onboarding flow, home screens, symptom trackers, air quality reporters, forms and quizzes, and logs.

VILLA blog design decisions

villa blog design

When reading is the main goal, a lot has to come into consideration with typography and accessibility. Here’s an exploration into my reasoning for choices for the VILLA WordPress blog design.

Kind words

  • Alan (Levels, Google, & Fitbit)

“Jenn is an amazing UX writer/designer who has taken on the content rewrite for the app. She's impressed me with her superior organization, detailed nature and obvious care of the craft in getting these articles structured for the app. Can't recommend her highly enough.”

  • Brett (Vanguard, Barclaycard, & CapitalOne)

“Jenn's quality of work is impeccable, but her collaboration and leadership skills are quite strong, too. She worked with my team to establish norms, worked with our stakeholders to ensure projects were delivered on time, and recommended processes and tools that our team still benefits from.”

  • Stephen (Vanguard, Chatham Financial)

“Jenn is a pleasure to work with and brings a dedication to clear communication into all she does. Her focus on helping the team generate well-written and relevant content has been vital, and I deeply appreciate her efforts at crafting the language we use - whether in a marketing context or in explaining sometimes complex details of our product offering. She stays on top of the work on her plate and knows when to push for more feedback or additional context. She was a true asset to our team.”

  • Sean Sheehan (Craft, Vanguard, Widener University)

“Jenn is an extremely thorough and thoughtful UX professional who doesn't shy away from challenging an idea. I had the pleasure of working with her in her capacity as a Content Strategist and her close collaboration with product, design, and research helped shape better and more intuitive experiences for our users. She's a master of organization and has a ‘get stuff done’ mindset which keeps things moving forward.”
