succulents galore

Mr. Brio surprised me with a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show! I was so inspired by all of the beautiful installations. As an artist, I'm trying to go outside of my comfort zone more in order to find inspiration for illustrations and writing, so this was a perfect outing.

This installation was my absolute favorite.

What got me more, I think, were the huge and unique succulents + cacti on display. It makes me want to learn more about growing and nurturing all of the succulents we have at home, beyond what little I know about propagation.
