How to Vectorize Watercolor Brush Lettering

9.00

You may be thinking, if I'm going to digitize my watercolor brush lettering, why do I also need to vectorize it? Can't I just scan it in at a super high resolution and be done with it?

You can—but vectorizing will give you a lot more flexibility for the future! Whenever you vectorize an image (instead of keeping it as a raster image), you are able to scale up the size of your image to any size imaginable without losing quality. Pretty cool, if you want to be able to get high-res banners printed, or if you wanted to make larger prints of a smaller piece of artwork you created.

This tutorial includes a step-by-step video and written walkthrough with screenshots so you can learn how to digitize and vectorize your watercolor brush calligraphy in Photoshop and Illustrator.
