PMD Personal Microderm one month later – before and after photos
Ahh, I kept my promise! Here’s my four-week update post for my thoughts on the PMD Personal Microderm. In my “first thoughts” video I’d only tried it once, and while the experience was good, I didn’t have enough fodder for a thorough review.
What’s the PMD, you ask? The PMD Personal Microderm is an at-home skincare tool used once every 6 or 7 days to help you easily and quickly remove the very top layer of skin, which promotes rapid cell renewal and help minimize breakouts and fine lines and wrinkles. The tool has replaceable microdermabrasion discs and takes 5 minutes max to complete the treatment. Click through the photo below to learn more about the PMD.
Here are progress photos, where the photo on the left is my skin post-PMD treatment #2 on September 9, and the photo on the right is my skin post-treatment #4, yesterday, September 23.
While these before and after photos speak for themselves, I do want to share a few thoughts as well.
Do I love this skincare tool? Yes! And here’s why:
- Using the PMD is a very quick process, making it easy to want to do regularly.
- It’s not painful – and the process isn’t so intense where you can’t also exfoliate between treatments.
- You don’t need to buy a whole new line of skincare to go along with the PMD; I’ve been washing my face like normal and then using Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist as toner, and argan oil or marula oil as moisturizer.
- The cost is low compared to treatments you’d get at the dermatologist or spa, even with the replacement discs factored in.
Even better news – you can order your own and use this coupon code to save a good chunk of money (I think about $45): bellapepper53.
I really love how much my skin tone and texture has improved; the fine bumps that were scattered across my face for several months are disappearing significantly. Do I still get breakouts? Sure! But, my skin seems to recover more quickly and it definitely seems to be helping with my hyperpigmentation from acne scars.
Do you think the PMD is something you could add to your skincare regime? Please share any thoughts or questions you have in the comments below.
