Natural lip glaze: 100 Percent Pure Lychee swatch and review
In my efforts to transition to all-natural makeup products, I’m trying a bunch of new things. I tried to pick up a nice range from 100% Pure in a semi-recent mini 100% Pure haul, since it was my first experience with the brand. I purchased the coffee bean eye cream (which I love) and the tinted moisturizer. Here’s my review and swatches of the Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze in Lychee.
Brand: 100% Pure
Product Name: Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze
Product Color: Lychee
Where to Buy: 100 Percent Pure
Price: $15 for 2.5 g
Product Claims: 100% Natural, 100% Vegan, Gluten free. Gorgeous colors from fruit pigments in a moisturizing base of avocado and cocoa butters. 100% natural formula will give your lips a sheer wash of fruit pigmented color while nourishing your lips with vitamins and antioxidants.
Packaging: Very cute, compact, and sturdy. The metal barrel is a nice touch. I love how you can see my warped reflection in the photos above!
Application: As promised, the lip glaze feels very nourishing. It glides on, and applies evenly on smooth, healthy skin. Because it’s not quite a gloss and not quite a lipstick, it has better staying power than a gloss. Nothing remarkable, but it definitely does not just slide off.

Overall Review: Even though this color doesn’t look as dark in the photos, it was much darker than I expected. I’m really bad about lip color – I tend to like the look of just my plain lips, and anything I do end up wearing should just be “my lips but better”. This may be because I’m either boring, or is actually most likely because my lips are frequently chapped, and darker colors amplify the imperfections. Anywho, you can see how the color got a tad bit patchy around dry areas. While I am not fond of this color nor will I use this product again, I would be willing to try other colors, such as Peach Bellini or Vixen (lighter pinks and peaches).
Have you tried 100% Pure cosmetics? What are your thoughts?
